Happy Lunar Snake New Year!

Beautiful, snow covered ground. We went to Queens to meet up with the family. Yummy food for all. Best part was seeing my grandmother. Isn't she cute? Bestest grandma on earth. Love me, spoil me and kept me safe as a child. Taught me to knit at 8 years old. She's 84 years young and still knitting. God bless that little super lady.

SuperBowl Sunday

Oh my Raven's fans. They were the happiest few last night after a very good and close game. But they won and Tai feels like the happiest boy in the world. I might have been made into a fan as well. It just seem right :)

January

Glimpses of January.

January was a month of hat making, sweater making, friends gathering, Chinese studying kind of month.  Our home within these four walls and beyond are so good.  Thank God for that.  Happy New Year to you and yours!  May your new year full of joy, good health and peace.

Winter Wonderland
This was about a month ago. I forgot to post our snow men.

We held on to our boys a little tighter this weekend.  Our hearts are broken.  Our prayers go out to the  families and community in Connecticut.  May God give them the strength to heal.

Hello November

 Hello mid November

Lovely weekend with kids, handmade sweater and solo walks in the woods.  Learning to make kale salad and eating the seasonal.  Soaking up the fall as we should.

Brigg Street

Just a little update on my knitting world.  I've been busy knitting.  This is what I recently made for myself.  Wearing it proudly.  This is a medium.  I used Cascade Venezia yarn.  It's 70% merino yarn and 30 percent silk.  Very soft to wear. Love it and love it.  I would have to say it's my favorite out of all the things I've knitted.
