Oh no! I'm out of yarn. I have no car to get to the yarn store because hubby's using it to go to work today. He's shooting his sound DVD. This is a baby sweater I'm making for my friend's baby girl. Baby sweaters are are quick to make. I just need to get my hands on more yarn! Happy Sunday!

Being grateful for our blessings.

This is little boy's school picture this year and last year. Look at how much he had grown!

Some days I have to slow down and thank God for the blessings he brings us every single day.
We are doing well, working hard and enjoy whatever family time we get to enjoy with one another. Our apartment has been on the market for the past 2 and a half months and we have not gotten an offer as of yet. I am not at all anxious about having our apartment sold. I know it will happen soon one day when the time and the right person comes along. I would like ifwe can settle in our new home in New Jersey by the time our new baby i shere but it's all in the power of the universe. I truely believe in that.

I started working on my friend's new baby girl sweater. I have about 3 more weeks before this little girl is due to arrive. Will post a picture as soon as I get some sunlight tomorrow morning.
I am making new sketches for the new felt work I'd like to do. Will post some of that tomorrow too. Until then, have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Easter and We are having a New Baby!

We had a very mellow weekend with library visit, naps, laundry, egg dyeing and local zoo. I am just taking it a bit slower these days and saving my energy. I am in the mist of making a second baby. I am pregnant again and it takes up a lot of energy. It's been almost 5 years since I last done this. I have to recall how to do this thing. It's very exciting . I am almost 11 weeks into this journey. Some may say it's a little bit early to tell people but I am already popping out so much quicker this time and I am really showing. Not much nausea, just queasy and I refuse to throw up a good meals! So the new baby is due to come out mid-October. I hope he or she won't be too early because mommy will be busy at work in October. I need all the extra days at work as I can get. So that is our very good news! We are all very excited especially big brother to be. He just can't wait and has announced that he's going to share all his toys including the teletubbies. Oh yeah, that's right! That is huge! Until next time, have a good week.

It's a very fine Tuesday!

It's seems like it's been a million and a half years since I blogged. I slow down on blogging because life is going in such fast pace with just the daily routines and other stuff. We are still in the process of selling our apartment and moving ourselves to New Jersey. We are showing our apartment every week to different people who all seemed to be interested but we have not yet gotten an offer. *Sign* But I believe in fate. Whatever's meant to be will be. If we are meant to be in NJ for the coming school semester for our little boy, we'll get there. We are not at all in a hurry. As for now, we just wait patiently and enjoy our one bedroom apartment which we called home for the past 5 years.

I am recovering from my flu slowly but surely. I took 2 and half days off from work this past week. I never take sick days but it was much needed. I don't feel 100% but soon.
We took little boy to see Horton Hears a Who yesterday. My husband and I thought the movie was okay, not enough heart like the pixar movies but little boy thought it was awesome! We had a mellow Saturday afternoon full of me napping and me doing the laundary and the husband working on his online new project. Today was a busy one which consisted of grocery shopping, birthday present picking, a short work out at the gym and a birthday party to go to. Thank God the party is just right upstaris. I just finished washing dishes for 3 meals. I really want to work up some energy one day soon and start doing some felt patch work and finish a sweater I have started for my friend's baby who will be arriving soon at the end of April. I'm off to dream line. Cheers!

I haven't felt like this in ages. I got the f**king flu! I thought I pulled a muscle at the gym on Saturday and Sunday but oh no. It's the flu. I was getting worse by the day. I stayed home from work on Monday, then worked Tuesday then left work early on Wednesday and I just surrendered and stayed home today. Hubby took little boy to my aunt's house so I can sleep my day away. I never know I can sleep so much. I am going back to BED!

Good News Sunday so I was convinced by my friend Melissa to write a Good News Sunday post.
First the good news is my hubby's back home from Europe safe and sound and had a good time.
Second, he brought back a gorgeous Arron sweater for me from Ireland.
I also went to the gym for an hour and 45 minutes for a descent work out.
Pizza night with my favoirte toppings on two half of a pizza: mushroom and olive. (but if had my way, my dream pizza would consist of: sundry tomato, artichoke, olive, mushroom, anchovies, green peppers and onions)
I sold a birdie and another kewpie doll from my etsy shop. That's exciting news!

Okay, pizza's here.

My husbby is finally home from his European book tour. Thank God! It was quite a bit of work commuting with little boy, walking the dog with little boy and cleaning the apartment for possible buyers immediately after work. And I sprang my left foot 3 days into his one week trip. I realize I am bitching quit a bit and I've been under the weather. I think it's having to walk the dog at night with a kid that's the hardest. But heck, I'm just glad he's finally home so he can walk the dog and rub my feet and he got me a really beautiful Arran wool sweater from Dublin and a pretty silver ring from Amsterdam. He had a really good time. He was in Dublin, London and Amsterdam giving talks and promoting his book. All three cities were great turn out. Will post picture of the sweater tomorrow. Here are the listing of the Kewpie Dolls in my shop
