Goal for this summer…HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!!!!!




I decided that I am going to fill this summer up with fun fun fun! So Friday, I took a day off to do just that. I met up with my friend at the Metropolitan Museum to look at art work and have a yummy gourmet lunch at the Met. I love Balthus. The Met has at least 4 of his huge paintings. I need to have a look at them every time I visit. He is so twisted but I love his work! After that, we treated ourselves to Sex and the City. The movie was all right. I felt like I was watching a whole season on DVD. I’m glad I got to see it on big screen.

Saturday, we headed out to Bradley Beach New Jersey before 9a.m. We spend a whole day there with some friends. Little boy lost his second tooth to the ocean but tooth ferry still came through with 9 quarters this time. For a 5 year old, he preferred the quarters then the $10 bill.






This summer, we are also learning to play chess very very slowly but surely.

I think I'm much better. I slept through the night without coughing for two nights in a row. It was wonderful. I won the battle of the respiratory infection with no antibiotics. I tell you what, I've never felt so sick. I took another Friday off to spend time with little boy. We haven't gone out anywhere yet and it's already reaching 2:27p.m. We did finished the laundry a day early in this house and I had organized all little boy's toys as much as I can. It was such a giant mess. I am feeling my big belly wearing me down these days. I am even going to suspend my membership at the gym next month until little boy #2 comes out. Although I might hit the gym tonight if Hubby decides not to go out with his friend after work.

So here's the thing, since I got preggy, I haven't made anything for my shop at all. I just haven't the urge to. I don't know what happened to my busy fingers. Maybe because I have stopped taking the subway for a little while but any how, I am working on a orange and blue sweater for little boy #2. So little boy #1 and little boy #2 can match this coming fall for Halloween.

Happy Father's Day!



We took the daddy to Mars 2112 for Father's Day. It's located in mid town right where the touristy stuff are. Hubby and little boy had a good old time. I wasn't so crazy about the food but the Mars theme was kick ass. It was lovely and low key and I manage to keep the nagging to myself all day long.







I think I'm over the hump! Oh yes, for the first time in over a week, I didn't wake up at 3a.m. with a coughing fit. Yes, no anti-biotics! My white blood cell did work after all just like what little boy said. Although my eyes were still shut with white puss this moring but that's okay. Let's hope no one catches my pink eye situation.

Undefeated Monopoly Player. That is my little boy.

He just learned to play this game about a month ago and he's been on a winner streak. I would say, undefeated. My hubby and I get our butts beat all the time. Now, his grandmother is in town for the visit. He's in the process of beating her too.

So I do have respiratory infection as well as PINK EYE. That's right. I am a mess! My pregnancy with little boy was so healthy that I didn't get sick once but with little boy #2, I've been sick like 3 times already and this time it's kicking my ass very very royally. So I surrender and went to see my doctor who I haven't seen for more than 2 years. Her advice was to ride it out. She gave me a script for anti-biotic, just in case I get a fever. I am so miserable. So I am riding it out... wish me luck.

Day at the BEACH with 1 cold and stomach flu!






Little boy has been fighting a stomach flu since Thursday. He's finally feeling a little bit better. I think he could have had a quicker recovery if we didn't take him to the beach and gave him steak for dinner on Sunday. He had such a good time, it was almost worth it but I would have held back the steak.

I'm now fighting my 3rd cold/allergy since my pregnancy. It's a pain in the ass to not able to take any drugs. I miss all my drugs!!!!!!! I was so sick the past two nights, I've been waking up at 4 to 5 a.m. making tea and sucking on cough drops.

Anyhow, the beach was so worth it!

Little Boy Turns 5!

Hello Hello,

Today was my little boy's last day of pre-school. It was so bitter sweet. He was so blessed to be able to be at such a wonderful and nurturing setting for the past two years. He's grown so much and over come some challenges. We are lucky enough to be able to send him to the same school for summer camp. He'll be with a couple of his classmates for 5 weeks but after that, off he goes to public local school in Queens. I am a bit nervous about that but he'll be well monitored during my maternity leave. Little boy is turning 5 years old tomorrow. We had his b-day party last weekend and it was simple, relax and wonderful.

I finally finished my friend's daughter's sweater! I'm ready to start one for my #2 new little boy.
